Beagles do not require much grooming, they have a smooth flat, hard, medium length coat with a softer, finer undercoat..

The Beagle was developed mostly in Great britain, they were especially popular from the Elizabethan Period onwards.

A good house dog, a normal, active Beagle usually barks when strangers approach the home.
